“Having sent some of my sales staff on a time management course with a large training company which had had no effect on their productivity at all, I was sceptical about trying another similar sounding course. However Anna convinced me that her content and style is different and that she is able to offer bespoke training. After less than an hour on the phone, Anna fully grasped the key levers in our business, the areas in which I was trying to gain improvement from the staff and how we apply performance metrics in our business. She then tailored the training to ensure that she facilitated discussions to pull out, for example, the message that they need to focus on the longer term customers not just the low hanging fruit.
As a result of the course, the call volumes increased measurably, but more importantly, they were to the right customers/potential customers, giving us an increase in revenue, not just in the short term but several months on. I also noticed better management of emails, a more focussed approach, and some harder calls being made earlier in the day. Some staff who had never had any discernable structure in their day, started putting structured plans in place – no mean feat!
The follow up individual coaching sessions were well received by all staff and seemed to double the impact of the course, reinforcing the messages at an individual level. Many staff approached me afterwards with renewed motivation and to share new career goals which they had developed.
Whilst maintaining confidentiality, Anna also provided me with some interesting insights into our business including some less than helpful behaviours where the performance metrics weren’t working 100% as I had intended. I was amazed at how much the staff seemed to relax and open up to Anna within a short space of time.
Anna was the consummate professional throughout and delivered exactly what she promised in her detailed proposal. She was highly organised, extremely competent and very knowledgeable. The challenge for Anna when we did the group training was that it was a mix of remote workers and office workers all at different levels. This did not phase Anna one bit. The course is designed in such a way that it can be flexed to suit the individual. Anna’s methods ensure that the key requirements of each individual are identified within the group and resolutions can be obtained through the training on each area. Anna focuses on the individual’s needs as well as the group – no mean feat – however she appears to achieve it with ease!
The added bonus from this course is that each individual attending has a follow up coaching session. This is invaluable as, with many of these courses, you attend, take in what you can and try and implement it afterwards. Having the follow up coaching session keeps the individual focused on their goals and allows them the opportunity to review areas where they have not managed to succeed or implement and also allows that one to one session where sometimes an individual may open up more than they would in a group session.
